A new customer came to us in need of a supplier to machine an expedited re-design of an aluminum oil pan for an automotive platform. Our customer needed to find a supplier who’d not only be able to begin production on these oil pans immediately, but also one they could trust to machine parts to meet their exact quality expectations within this time-frame.
After reaching out to us with their problem, our team hit the ground running on launching this new project. In only 3 weeks we were able to develop our process, build machining fixtures and submit sample parts to our customer. Only 1 week after submitting the initial samples to the customer, our Quality and Production teams were ready to submit a full Automotive Standard Level 3 PPAP and begin production.
