Load and operate CNC machinery to perform machining operations, such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts made of various materials. Ensures finished parts have been fully machined to meet specifications by performing routine quality checks/measurements and visually expecting all parts. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
Perform all of the functions of an entry level machinist, along with changing out and monitoring machine tools and fixtures during the process of manufacturing, making adjustments when necessary. Candidates must be proficient in understanding blue prints, have experience with CNC fanuc controls, and experienced in reading and interpreting measurements using common gages and measuring tools. CMM experience is preferred, but not required.
