About 8 weeks prior to the launch of a new motorcycle the OEM discovered a major problem with the new design of the bike. One of the frame components on the bike was not working properly and causing failures during their testing, which would result in the OEM having to push back the scheduled release of the new design.
Nowak worked with our customer and the OEM to develop a new process for machining the component to solve the structural problem, and began work on building fixtures to begin production ASAP. In about 2 weeks our machining fixtures were built and ready to begin machining production parts, which allowed the OEM to safely release the new motorcycle model as scheduled.
